Does the gaming desk support a healthy sitting posture?
Yes. The Ultimate Setup gaming desk is ergonomically designed and electrically height-adjustable from 72 cm to 120 cm, so you can enjoy an ergonomic yet maximally comfortable posture all day long.
Even if your chair is height-adjustable, it is also important that your desk is height-adjustable so that your arms can rest at a right angle, you don’t have to hunch, and the viewing angle to the monitors is ergonomically aligned.
Furthermore, the Ultimate Setup gaming desk has an ergonomic armrest at the front of the tabletop, which protects the forearms, especially during longer gaming sessions.
Are all products from Ultimate Setup compatible with each other?
Yes, absolutely. Our setup is modular. This means you can combine all our cable management solutions—such as cable trays, cable channels, and cable chains—with any of our desk frames. Likewise, our tabletops are modular, so you can freely combine any tabletop with our frames.
Our products are also compatible with third-party products. This means you can combine all Ultimate Setup products with almost any third-party products. For example, the Ultimate Setup cable tray and cable chain with your own desk, or the Ultimate Setup desk frame with a third-party tabletop. What desk size should I choose?
A good guideline for making this decision is the number of monitors and other equipment you need, as more space will be required accordingly. If you only need an average monitor and a laptop, a 140x70 cm tabletop is completely sufficient. For two monitors and a larger gaming PC, a 160x80 cm tabletop is more suitable. For more than three monitors, a large gaming PC, and additional technical equipment, we would recommend a 180x80 cm tabletop. Of course, these are just rough guidelines, and in individual cases, everyone needs to make this decision for themselves. Should I buy a desk frame with one motor or with two motors?
At Ultimate Setup, we currently offer our desk frame only with one motor. The reason for this is that a single motor is more than sufficient for almost all setups, while a second motor is usually unnecessary and only causes additional costs for the customer. During the development of the Ultimate Setup desk frame, we instead focused on high-quality workmanship and excellent stability, as most competitor desk frames in a similar or even higher price range show inferior quality in these two areas—despite the fact that they are essential for comfortable work.
The Ultimate Setup desk frame has a load capacity of 90 kg (excluding the tabletop), which is generally more than sufficient (e.g. for a 180×80 tabletop with four monitors and a large PC case).
