Is the cable chain compatible with the Ultimate Setup table?
The cable snake is of course compatible with the Ultimate Setup desk. However, there are no pre-drilled holes under the Ultimate Setup desk tops, as the cable chain can be mounted very quickly and easily on the desk leg using magnetic brackets. The connection to the desk top can be made using either screws or a magnetic pad.
Is it advisable to purchase the cable chain in combination with the cable tray, cable net or cable duct?
Yes, definitely! The cable chain is the ideal complementary product that completes your desk cable management. The cables from the cable tray, the cable duct or the cable net can thus be safely and neatly to the floor.
Can the cable chain be reduced in size?
The cable chain is 133 cm long and is therefore suitable for all standard height-adjustable desks. Each chain link can be removed, allowing the length of the cable chain to be gradually adjusted.
What is the biggest advantage of the cable chain?
In addition to the advantage that the cable chain can be mounted very easily and quickly thanks to the magnetic holders, the cable chain ensures that your cables are routed safely and neatly from your cable management system under the desk top (e.g. cable tray, cable duct, cable net) to the floor/socket.

This cable management system is a fantastic solution for keeping the cables under my standing desk organised. I've tried several cable management options, and so far this system works the best. Installation was easy, and the length of the cable channel is just right for my setup. I would have preferred it to be all metalbut I understand that it would have been too heavy or possibly scratched the desk surface.
Previously, I had a magnetic guide attached to the bottom of the legs of my standing desk, but I find that this cable guide looks cleaner and flows better, especially when the desk is adjusted in height.
The flexibility of the installation options is excellent. I opted for the magnetic version, but there are different ways to mount it and it works just as well with any of them.
