Is the cable net compatible with the Ultimate Setup desk?

In fact, for ideal desk cable management, we recommend combining the cable tray with the Ultimate Setup desk rather than the cable net. Due to the design of the desk frame, the cable net cannot be optimally positioned at the back of the tabletop behind the crossbar (the bar that connects the two desk legs) of the desk frame. The net must be positioned in front of the crossbar/connecting bar of the frame. However, this makes cable routing from the back of the desk more difficult. Furthermore, there are no pre-drilled holes for the net on the back of the Ultimate Setup tabletops. For the cable tray, pre-drilled holes are already provided in the ideal locations.

Cable net, cable tray, or cable channel? Which makes the most sense?

If you are purchasing an Ultimate Setup desk, we recommend the Ultimate Setup cable tray. It has been specifically designed for the Ultimate Setup desk, and the appropriate pre-drilled holes are already provided on the underside of the tabletop. Furthermore, the cable tray has a higher load capacity than the cable net. If, on the other hand, you already own a desk and only want to accommodate 1–2 power strips including cables and accessories underneath it, then the cable net and cable channel are ideal.

How durable and stretchable is the net?

The net is extremely stretchable. So far, among more than 20,000 satisfied customers, there has not been a single known case in which the net has torn (when installed correctly).

Is the cable net compatible with every desk?

The cable net is compatible with any desk that has a tabletop thickness of at least 1.5 cm and is made of MDF or wood. Unfortunately, it is not possible to install the cable net on glass or stone tabletops, as the anchor-shaped mounts of the cable net must be screwed underneath the tabletop and cannot be attached with adhesive.
