Cable chain desk

I already have a cable duct from the same supplier (which is really great) and have now also ordered this cable guide. As I use a height-adjustable desk, I wanted the cables to be routed safely and neatly to the floor - and this chain is perfect for exactly that.

Like the cable duct, the cable guide is of high quality. With 133 cm long, it offers plenty of room for manoeuvre - I simply removed a few chain links, which was child's play thanks to the assembly instructions.

I am particularly impressed by the fact that the chain is attached to the table leg with very strong magnets. This means it always stays perfectly in place when the table is raised and lowered. Not only does it look much tidier and more professional, but it also prevents the chain from getting in the way or making noise.

The cable guide is nice and wide, so that even several or thicker cables fit in without any problems. It also comes with lots of practical accessories for cable management, which I think is really great.

In combination with the cable duct from Ultimate Setup, you really do have the ultimate cable management setup!

The chain-shaped cable guide is perfect for neatly organising cables on height-adjustable desks. With a total length of 1.3 m and internal dimensions of 4 × 2 cm, it offers sufficient space for many cables and wires.

Strong magnets are attached to both ends so that the cable guide can be attached to the desk easily and without much effort.ann. If no metal surface is available, suitable mounting material for screwing is also included.

The system is ideal for tidying up under the desk and the workmanship is really high quality.

A small note: The chain cannot be shortened individually. However, this hardly diminishes the possible uses, as it is very flexible and cleverly designed overall.

As soon as you unpack it, you realise how well thought-out this system is. No drilling, no gluing - strong magnets ensure that the cable guide holds onto metal table legs in no time at all. Installation is child's play: fixed at the top and bottom, the chain snakes elegantly from the table to the floor. Finally, the cable strands that would otherwise hang from the table like vines disappear. The table edge hung neatly in a flexible sleeve. The result: a tidy and organised workstation.

I particularly like the fact that the cable guide adapts perfectly to every movement of my height-adjustable desk. Whether I'm standing or sitting, the cables remain safely stowed away and are not crushed or pulled out. This protects the technology and maintains full flexibility at the workplace.

The chain is made of robust plastic, but is also flexible enough to be easily adjusted. If you wish, you can remove individual links to shorten the length to suit your needs. Threading the cable is quick and easy: Open the lid, insert the cable, close the lid - done. Almost like assembling a toy, but with a really practical result.

Another advantage: the cables are well protected from dust and curious pets in the closed guide. Especially when the desk is free-standing in the room, everything immediately looks more professional and tidy.

Of course, there are small limitations: If you want to accommodate a lot of cables or particularly thick cables, you will eventually reach the limits of capacity. The cable routing is also functionally visible - if you prefer a completely minimalist design, you might be better off looking for an integrated solution.

For me, it's still an excellent solution for clean and flexible cable management.

I bought this cable chain to get rid of the cable clutter under my desk. It's a great solution that looks like a flexible tube and is made of sturdy black plastic.

The installation was really easy: you fix the top part under the desk and the base is on the floor. You can add sections (links) oto adjust the length - this is very practical. I adjusted my chain slightly and then simply fed the cables through the chain.

This works brilliantly. I have all my monitor, power and computer cables neatly and safely stowed away. They are no longer lying on the floor and the workplace looks much tidier. The flexible design works perfectly, even when I move my sit-stand desk.

The chain holds several cables, perhaps 4 or 5 depending on the thickness. It's a simple but effective solution that makes a big difference.

I give it four stars because I would like a little more space for thicker cables. But overall a very good way to manage cables, especially with adjustable desks. Good value for money!
